UEA Honor Roll Awards

UEA annually recognizes individuals, businesses or organizations that have made a significant contribution to public education with the UEA Honor Roll Award. The awards are presented at a special event during the UEA Convention and Education Exposition. The selections are made by the UEA Board of Directors upon the recommendation of a committee appointed by the Board.

Nomination Instructions:

  1. The person or business nominated must be a non-educator.
  2. The nominee must have provided outstanding service to education and may include but not be limited to legislators, members of the media, businesses, organizations, parents, and other non-educators.
  3. The person or persons nominating a recipient may develop a file of documents, newspaper clippings, and other supportive materials--substantiating the nomination--to accompany the nomination form. Supportive materials can be e-mailed to kristie.rasmussen@utea.org.
  4. Provide a black and white or color photo.

Nomination Deadline:

The nomination deadline for the 2012 UEA Honor Roll Award will be posted here as soon at it is set. The deadline is typically in September.
